Nimer fills the canvas the way he fills a room. His shoulders spread wide and angular, built from panel after panel of green and gold pattern, so he reads as a man wearing his history rather than wearing a suit. His face is assembled from facets of colour and his eyes hold you without blinking. Nothing about him is hurried.
